Rules: Knowledge-based or experience-based patterns for the reliable definition, repetition, and interaction of other patterns.
Control & hierarchy: evolve out of the concepts of "rules," because with pattern formation must come rules defining how patterns will form, and with pattern interaction and relationship must come rules governing that interaction and relationship.
Quantum: A minimum, discrete group of reality cells that interact with each other, use and share information (patterns of data) and modify themselves
Reality cell: A singular, relative disturbance in a uniform state. The simplest form is a basic, binary unit.
Information: Patterns of data.



AUO forms Computational Memory to provide improved organization
Patterns, patterns of patterns, operations, relationships, and the rule-sets that evolve to define, regulate, and order that all constitute the basic ingredients of almost everything we directly experience. "Civilization [like consciousness, and everything else] is about ordered patterns defined by profitability and constraints."


A self-consistent system of logical processes is mathematics. AUO evolved its own form of mathematics within a memory and processing section, using discrete reality cells, so that accessible memory becomes less of a significant constraint to evolving consciousness. The Big Computer is precisely the computational and memory function of AUO whose purpose is to provide improved organization to a relatively dim cellular mind. It coordinates the actions and interactions of binary memory cells, which control the organized patterns of innumerable reality cells. Digital logic based on decreasing entropy facilitates content sharing and intentioned manipulation among and between memory cells, so that the whole process has direction and purpose.
