My Big TOE: Awareness and AUO

Evolving awareness
How are states of being evolved? Potential states of being are generated by direct choice, random events, and dumb luck. The entity explores all the potential states it can successfully populate. Therefore, awareness, a state of being, grows and evolves similarly to how physical bodies have grown and evolved: the entity interacts with internal environments (mutating) and external environments, discovers it can be aware of those environments, and chooses to be aware because it is profitable.

Developing and evolving awareness is a standard and natural happening among biological entities.


Dim awareness is the same as any awareness, only very limited in scope and complexity. Single-celled biological organisms long ago "discovered" a trick to increased profitability (for them, improved survivability and procreation) ["discovery" in the evolutionary sense: diffused happenings over long periods of time during which huge numbers of more or less random internal experiments have been evaluated for profitability]. Dim awareness, motivated by the fundamental process, discovers cellular specialization: some cells specialize in specific functions (eating, digestion, reproduction, locomotion, coordination, control). Increased specialization helped them evolve to more complex and successful creatures. You can connect the dots until we reach mammalian biology and the evolution of the human brain.

Awareness and AUO
AUO is not actually infinite and all there is; it has an external environment, but it is so far beyond our understanding it's not really worth getting into here. We can just look at internal evolution of AUO (viz., mutation/modification of uniform internal structure) to gain dim awareness. And it did that by the fundamental process: trying multiple possibilities until it discovered the profitability of expanded sensation of data (awareness).

AUO will eventually evolve from awareness to intelligence. We are an expression of, and result of, the existence, being, and evolvement of AUO. So AUO's evolution exhibits similar processes to our own. AUO is primary consciousness and we are derivative consciousness.
